Parlay Settles Patent Dispute

Parlay Entertainment, the online gaming and onling bingo software, has been facing the possibility of legal action over a patent dispute for the past few weeks and they have now negotiated a settlement with the company, called 1st Technology, regarding the online bingo software that Parlay offers its gaming website owners.

As the first company to offer online bingo software, Parlay is widely respected and used within the online bingo industry and they have more recently spread their wings to include TV bingo and gaming. The patent dispute was concerning a portion of the bingo software they offer that enables the website to deliver high quality multimedia content over the Internet using various bandwidths.

The whole Parlay software portfolio that is used by a lot of major online bingo sites includes popular 75 ball and 90 ball bingo games along with an equally impressive range of side games such as slots and video poker.

Parlay are said to be pleased that they have managed to negotiate a settlement with 1st Technology that enables them to continue using the software in their own offering.
